Who are patents for ? Pt-2

Hi, this is mayumasa.

Today, I'll continue talking about patents.

Yay, I've invented something! So I'll file for a patent right away!!
But that's not the case. I first started researching whether there was any similar technology.

Using existing patented technology would result in a claim for patent infringement.

After some research, I discovered that there are technologies that use different materials and methods to make bags easier to open.
However, many design forms, perhaps due to the use of a "clasp," have a somewhat mechanical, rigid feel.

In light of the contents of these existing patents, I examined the "uniqueness" and "innovativeness" of the Spring Pack Backpack and put them into words.

The simple reasoning of "easy opening" is easily rejected because it is no different from existing patents and is "similar technology, not innovative (invention)."

The application was initially rejected, but on the second try, it was granted!
Thanks to your support, the patent was granted.

The details are complicated, so I'll skip them, but
the main points are as follows.

The key is the use of a "spring" component.
By utilizing this spring for the automatic opening function,
design restrictions are reduced (since the spring is flexible),
we can create new, unprecedented design forms,
making this backpack more accessible to more people.
A truly "universal" perspective became the basis for the invention.

The combination of "function and fashion" has vastly expanded the range of uses for backpacks, from children to seniors, and of course for gender-neutral people, even for those who have never been good at using backpacks.

This will make travel more stress-free,
and I am convinced that this will become an item that can transform ``movement'' from simply ``moving'' into ``the travel experience.''

Honestly, it was a lot of work, but I am really glad that we were able to patent and commercialize it.

A "Spring Pack Backpack" with an automatic opening function that lets you quickly find what's inside
If you haven't tried it yet, please give it a try.

Have a wonderful travel experience today!
